I am intrepid

I have lived and achieved by overcoming a life dominated by socioeconomic disparities.
Without apology I arrived at the point of my research as life provided me with the ability to do so.
I am achieving my goals and dreams after dedication, persistence, and resilience.
I am an emerging voice.
I am intrepid.

A former high school dropout working on her PhD, I have always been an older student.
I do not have an IRA or a 401K.
I am unable to receive financial compensation for any work I perform while in India.
My Fellowship covers language learning and not my research expenses.
I need your contribution to help cover costs.

My goal is to help many people and society

I give back to society by continuing to research issues of disparity and inequality.
I give back by contributing to knowledge that can help more than one or two people escape poverty.
I am prepared to delve into my language, Hindi, and my field research.
My research is community based.
My participants are valuable colleagues.
They are intrepid too.
